MTA increases hybrid buses in Jackson Heights.  The LaGuardia depot, which services Jackson Heights, has 20 new hybrid buses in service and a total of 83 new hybrid buses will be in service by August this year.     Neighborhood News

 

Plans for Commercial Expansion in Western Jackson Heights   37-02 73rd Street Applications have been filed for to add a five story addition above 37-02 73rd Street. The new structure would have a total gross area of 10,841 square feet. The Department of Buildings has twice turned down the application for unspecified building reasons. The property owner is determined to re-submit and build here.
37-08 73rd Street Applications have also been filed to add a four story addition above 37-08 73rd Street. The new structure would have a total gross area of 15,492 square feet. The Department of Buildings has twice turned down the application for unspecified building reasons. The property owner is determined to re-submit and build here.
